Gutter cleaning in Cheltenham
Cheltenham gutters tend to be either very high or very awkward – parapet runs on Regency terraces, hidden valley gutters behind the stonework, or three-storey townhouses where a ladder is simply the wrong tool. All of it can be cleared with a vacuum from the ground, from £85.
Gutter clearing in Cheltenham
On period property the risk is not just the gutter. Water backing up behind a parapet or a blocked hopper soaks into render and stone, and the repair bill runs into thousands. We check and flush hoppers and downpipes as part of every clean and tell you straight away if we see a cracked section or a slipped slate.
Around Prestbury, Charlton Kings and Leckhampton the gardens are mature and the trees are tall, so we are back most autumns. On newer estates at Hatherley and Benhall, every second year is usually enough.
For blocks of flats and commercial buildings we can schedule an annual clear-out with photos supplied for your maintenance records.
What the job includes
- Water pouring over the edge of the gutter during heavy rain
- Plants, grass or moss visible along the gutter line
- Green or black staining down the wall below the gutter

Frequently asked questions
Can you clear gutters on a three-storey Cheltenham townhouse?
Yes. The vacuum poles reach up to four storeys from the ground, so there is no scaffolding or tower to hire for most properties.
Do you clear parapet and valley gutters?
Where they can be reached safely from the ground, yes – and the camera on the pole shows you what came out.
How much does gutter cleaning cost in Tewkesbury?
Gutter clearing starts at £85, and is typically £99–£119 for a three or four-bed house. Properties with a conservatory or extension, or a third floor, cost more. We quote on the address before we book you in.
How often should gutters be cleaned?
Once a year for most homes. If your property sits under trees, go for autumn every year – that is when the gutters fill fastest.
Do I need to be at home?
No. For exterior work we only need access to the property – please leave side gates unlocked. We’ll text you the day before.
What if it rains?
We work in light to moderate rain – pure water and pressure washing aren’t affected. In storms or high winds we’ll call to rebook.
How do I pay?
You’ll get an invoice by SMS or email after the clean. Pay by bank transfer within 5 working days.

My sofa is looking brand new again! Stains I couldn’t shift are completely gone and it smells so good. He put shoe covers on without even being asked – 10/10.
Very professional. Matt did a move-out carpet clean and did an amazing job, even getting rid of rust on the carpet. Highly recommend.
So flexible – squeezed me in the day after I contacted him. Punctual, efficient, extremely friendly and reasonably priced.
