Roof cleaning & moss removal
Moss holds water against your tiles, blocks the gutters every time it drops and adds real weight to the roof. We clear and soft wash roofs across Tewkesbury, Winchcombe and the surrounding villages – then treat the surface so the moss takes years, not months, to come back.
Scrape, soft wash, treat
Heavy moss is removed first, then the roof is soft washed – low pressure with a cleaning solution that kills the spores rather than blasting them away. High-pressure jetting strips the protective granules off concrete tiles and forces water under the laps, which is why we do not use it on roofs. Finally a biocide is applied and left to work with the weather.

Conservatory and porch roofs
Glass and polycarbonate conservatory roofs, porches and canopies are cleaned with pure water and soft brushes, including the frames, finials and box gutters where the green really builds up. Outside cleans start at £97.50 and inside-and-out at £120.49, depending on the size of the roof. It is the job our customers notice most – the light in the room changes completely.
Frequently asked questions
Do you jet wash roofs?
No. High pressure removes the tile granules and can force water into the roof. We scrape, soft wash and treat instead – slower, but it protects the roof.
How long until the moss goes after treatment?
The biocide works with the rain over the following weeks and months. Treated roofs stay clear far longer than roofs that are only scraped.
Can you clean my conservatory roof only?
Yes – conservatory and porch roofs are one of our most requested jobs and can be booked on their own or with a window clean.
