Driveway & patio cleaning in Cheltenham
Cheltenham paving is often worth looking after: York stone paths, Cotswold stone terraces, original flagstones behind Regency houses. All of it cleans up beautifully with hot water at the right pressure – and all of it can be wrecked by the wrong pressure, which is why we drop it for soft stone.
Hot pressure washing in Cheltenham
On period property the mortar joints matter as much as the slabs. We work at a lower pressure across old stone and lime-mortar joints, finish the edges by hand, and tell you first if we think a surface needs repointing rather than washing.
Modern driveways in Hatherley, Benhall and Up Hatherley are usually block paving, and those get the full treatment: hot rotary wash, weeds out of the joints, then fresh kiln-dried sand brushed back in.
We also clean steps, pool surrounds, garden walls and commercial car parks and loading areas, scheduled outside opening hours where that suits better.
What the job includes
- Block paving driveways and drop kerbs
- Patios – Indian sandstone, limestone, porcelain and concrete slabs
- Paths, steps and pool surrounds

Frequently asked questions
Is pressure washing safe on Cotswold stone?
At the right pressure, yes. We use lower pressure and a flat head on soft stone and lime mortar, and hand-finish the edges rather than blasting them.
Do you clean commercial car parks in Cheltenham?
Yes – car parks, loading bays and entrance areas, usually early morning or at weekends so we are out of your way.
How much does driveway cleaning cost?
Pressure washing starts at £4 per square metre, with a minimum call-out. A typical two-car driveway is usually £180–£300 including re-sanding. We measure and quote before booking.
Will pressure washing damage my paving?
Not when it is done properly. We match pressure and nozzle to the surface and drop the pressure for softer stone, decking and mortar joints.
Do I need to be at home?
No. For exterior work we only need access to the property – please leave side gates unlocked. We’ll text you the day before.
What if it rains?
We work in light to moderate rain – pure water and pressure washing aren’t affected. In storms or high winds we’ll call to rebook.
How do I pay?
You’ll get an invoice by SMS or email after the clean. Pay by bank transfer within 5 working days.

Matt arrived at a time that suited us. The cleaning process was amazing from start to finish. Looks brand new again – will be in touch for additional work.
My sofa is looking brand new again! Stains I couldn’t shift are completely gone and it smells so good. He put shoe covers on without even being asked – 10/10.
Very professional. Matt did a move-out carpet clean and did an amazing job, even getting rid of rust on the carpet. Highly recommend.
So flexible – squeezed me in the day after I contacted him. Punctual, efficient, extremely friendly and reasonably priced.
